You may remember when I was ticketed in my driveway for lack of insurance (well, technically, it was 30 feet from me at the time) and a broken brake light. Today was my day in court.
I was going to draw a visual representation of my entire trip, but that would’ve taken longer than I had energy to dedicate to this, so I went with something more simplistic. I ended up paying $103 ($10 for not getting my brake light fixed within 10 days of my ticket - they never told me that! - and $93 for “court costs”) which saved me a grand total of $20 from what the ticket for the brake light would’ve been had I just paid it. Sigh.
