I do NOT get the ridiculous weirdness over Volkswagon’s use of a couple of Wilco songs in their commercials. Fans are going berzerk. WTF?
Get the freak over it! Wilco is one of the more respectable bands out there, a band that has played by its own rules virtually since the beginning and all they have to show for their new release is a 5.whatever rating from PitchSnobfork and pretentious “fans” whining like a spoiled rich kid who got the castle moonwalk instead of the one with the giant clown for his 11th birthday party.
I wonder how many of them actually paid for “Sky Blue Sky” and how many downloaded it for free from a P2P network.
