RIP Avery

This is Avery. He passed away last night of a heart attack while I tried to rush him to the animal emergency clinic. He was born under my house with his brother Tommy right after my ex-wife and I moved in. When we first adopted him, we didn’t know if he was a boy or a girl, so we temporarily named him Veronica until the vet told us otherwise.
He was an incredibly sweet cat, loving and docile. He will be missed.

Jeff — thank you for taking care of him, and loving him for his entire life. He was a sweet and happy cat. Thank you for posting Katya’s wonderful picture, too. I lost all mine when my computer crashed. I love the sweet, thoughtful look on his face — that’s just how I want to remember him. You’re a good kitty daddy, Jeff, and Avery was lucky to have found you all those many years ago.
